Is Wyeast 1332 a top fermentor?

I have a brew that has been going for 10 days now and it still has about an inch and a half of krausen on top of it. I used the wyeast 1332-northwest activator. I didnt see anything about it on their website so I wasnt sure. I just took my blow off tube off and put the airlock on and man does that thing smell good.

Isn't that the Hales Ales strain? If it is, its a top-fermenting yeast. It's The Gales strain via Hales, I believe.
 
That's one of my all-time favorite strains!

Most ale yeast strains are top fermenters (maybe even all? I'm no chemist). Lager yeast tend to be bottom fermenters.
