I would ferment separately and then blend to taste. For example, after it is done fermenting, put various ratios into a glass and try. You might like 60/40 instead of 50/50. Not sure what your gonna get though.
 
I made a batch of 9% skeeter pee a couple months ago. A couple weeks back I was making up a batch of kombucha, and I poured half a glass of the sweet tea and topped it off with the skeeter pee. It was pretty much exactly what you're talking about.

It wouldn't keep the way I made it because of the leftover yeast in the pee, but you could stabilize it the way mead makers do or just blend in each glass (pee and sweet tea).
