Imperial Nut Brown Ale

I'm currently brewing a nut brown ale kit. From a previous brew I have left over 2lb of plain light spray malt extract. I'm basically just wanting to get rid of it. Will it's flavor profile screw up the nut brown ale if i just add it to this wort? I know it will bump up the alcohol some..

FYI.. The extract in the recipe is Plain Amber

With amber extract that might make the beer pretty sweet. If you don't mind sweet beer go ahead.
