Yesterday my wife and I went to a friends house to help press several bushels of apples and pears.
Since we were only going to make 5 gallons of cider or perry and after tasting both types of juice we couldn't decide what to make. We mixed both the apple and pear. The mix tastes good; the apple is a little stronger. Has anybody else tried this before?
