I have problems keeping my tubing straight, little blue pill doesn't help.

Okay, that is a cheap joke. But when I go to rack my beer the tubing curls up, as expected, since it has been stored in a loop. Do more experienced brewers weigh down the end of the tubing? Any ideas?

I hang one end of mine on a nail and let it dangle. A few days of this straightens it out pretty good.

hang it up after soaking in hot water for a bit. then store it in bigger coils

put in the sun a half hour to soften, then lay flat to cool. bigger coils, etc.

it does have a memory but it can be re-trained.

+1 Heat up some water and soak the hose until it softens. Then stretch it and weight it until it cools. However, I just work around it...
