I have a gallon of wort that's 1.036 OG. I want to raise the OG to about 1.045ish. How much DME do I need to add to accomplish this. Is there a good formula online? I know that 1 lb of DME in 1 gallon of water = 1.046. I'm not starting from scratch, though.

yepper. its not magic.

:drunk: I'm still not sure math isn't magic... not unlike the original brewers thought fermentation was "magic"!

LOL If I didn't have software, this forum and a few books I'd be lost, even after brewing as long as I have! I really wish I had a head for numbers, especially since I've moved to all grain!
