Its an aquarium glass hydrometer and thermometer, seems like a great option, it just doesn't have the markings a hydrometer intended for brewing/wine making would. I was thinking of getting one and just leaving it in the carboy during fermentation (sanitized of course). If it works, I might just get one for each of my carboys.
Can anyone think of any problems arising from leaving them in the carboy?
