I'm looking for help on building my brew stand. I'm looking at basing my build off of the one found here,

https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/solid-strut-single-tier-build-400624/

however I'm looking at swapping out the top struts with Stainless Steel. I've been doing some research, and haven't found anything done like this, and I was hoping for some help.

Unfortunately with my work and commuting schedule, I really don't have any time to stop by an electrical supply shop to ask, but I was wondering if anyone knew where I could purchase stainless steel struts, and part numbers for doing so.

Truly appreciate any and all help.

People don't do it because it is not cost effective and really defeats the purpose of using strut. However here you go!

Daves69, thanks for the info. Makes total sense now, didn't think it would be so much.

I did mine with SS. It added several hundred to the total cost. Probably the biggest expense was the bolts and brackets. I only used SS where the flames would hit the metal. I used slotted strut though. I'm pretty happy with it.

I bought from these guys: http://www.strutchannelfittings.com/

Here's my stand. It's a 2-tier. You'll notice some discoloration from soot from the burners. It cleans right off with a scrubby.

I also made my 3 keggle stand using stainless steel strut where flame meets metal. Same with brackets and bolts-stainless if near heat. Galvanized steel strut for the rest. At the time SS was 6 times the price but I only used one piece so it hurt a little but was possible. Now with materials cost I don't know. Anyway, I am glad I did it this way as it looks nice and clean after multiple brew sessions.
