We've had the odd contaminated batch, but nothing that can be directly attributed to the chiller. After use we flush with hot (140°F) water in both directions, then run a 20 min hot PBW cycle, rinse backwards, then a 20 min cold sanitizer cycle, and leave it packed out with sani. Once every 2-3 months we break it down and soak the plates overnight in caustic.
