How Long Does Your Scoby Take To Develop?

New producer to the site! Curious how long you guys have your new scoby's brewing in batches before they are strong enough to make a solid buch! We generally take 2-3 batches before we're happy with how the buch is coming out! Thought we'd see how the numbers vary for fun!

Are you not using a starter tea when you make a new batch?

Continuous Brewing method for us! Taking about 2/3 of buch out and re-adding to fill it back up!

The Scoby doesn't really do much; the yeast and bacteria in the starter tea does.

6 weeks was to acidic for me.Youre recipe will play a big part in it.
