Started fermenting an Irish dry stout six weeks ago. My wife passed awat and I had no time/desire to bottle it til now. The airlock has been maintained throughout. What should I expect from this batch. Is it wrth bothering with?

sorry about your wife. totally understandable making that situation priority. the beer will be fine. most of us have had beer in primary for far longer than that, and it's still good beer (if it was going to be in the first place...)

It's fine. You probably have at least another month window to let it rest in there.
You're fine, bottle it and put a case in a safe place -- drink one bottle a month and remember your wife -- a tribute brew.
