HI all,

I am planning on doing my first home brew this weekend. i think im ready but i have one question im still a little lost on. How do you maintain the temp during primary and secondary? Do i rap it in a towel? my house gets pretty nippy during the day when no one is home and also during the night. Any cheap and easy/simple advice would be great!
Thanks

If its too cold u can get the temp belts for the fermenters that heat them. But if u need cool and warm u need to look at some of the fermentation chamber people have built

I started out just leaving it in the basement. Usually a consistent 63F.

Really depends on what type of beer/yeast you are making/using. I made Ales so it worked out nicely.
