Googled "homebrewing" and read everything I could. HBT gave the best info, and seemed to have a really responsive community. That's proven to be true!

I must admit I found homebrewtalk on the iPad I bought my wife for her birthday. After purchasing a brew kit online, I thought I would research how to make my first brew unforgettable, in a good way. I enjoy reading about different techniques other brewers have tried and had success with. What a great site to collaborate.

Was missing brewing several years ago, but had too much on my plate to pick it up again.

Just recently decided to go for it again, and started reading the threads. Now I'm losing sleep because of all the brew porn and can't wait to get my new brewery built out and ready to go.:tank:

I guess I originally found you guys on Google.

But then I stayed because just about everyone referenced HBT. YouTube, Blogs, Other Sites, so I just stayed. I'm glad I did. I've brewed some killer beers with your recipes & saved about $2000 on your DIY projects.

My LHBS hates you guys since you're taking $$$$$ out of their pockets. I LOVE you guys.

Thank you.

I found this (awesome) community after searching on Google for the dimensions of a corney keg... And finding a thread asking the same question where the responses suggested Googling for the dimensions :cross:

A subsequent reply gave the dimensions, though, and I've been poking around ever since.

Thanks all for your comments! This place kicks butt!

And I do expect to become a paying member in 6 days, (payday).

I've got some, 'gettin' used to', to get through for this forum, but I'm all heart! :-D

My real name is Steve not Bob. There's a story behind how I got my screen name, I use it on a few other forums I post to, an didn't want to switch, just so others who know me from them will recognize me if they stumble onto me here.

Anyway, I'm having a good time here so far.

Thanks again for the welcome

I am no stranger to the brewing experience, I have helped make mead before, but I am new to brewing by myself. While I was searching for a recipe for mulberry/blackberry mead. This site kept coming up, since there is so much information. It didn't hurt to have the resource available.
