When adding priming sugar in bulk prior to the bottling:

(correct me if I'm wrong)

I should boil 3/4 cup into 1 cup of water of dextrose (or whatever)

Now shoudl I let the solution cool before I add it or add it hot. I would think that hot solution would be evil on the little yeasties!!!

I boil mine up first thing on bottling day, in a pot with a lid. Then I bring the pot to the area, and it just sits with the lid on until I'm ready to pour the sugar... stays clean that way, but isn't a million degrees when I go to use it. But 99 is right - it won't hurt anyhow, really.
