I'll have a lot of open hops left over after a brew I'm doing next week, and I plan to use them in another brew the next day. Will the hops be significantly oxidized if they're not vacuum sealed for 24 hours?

I've read that cascade takes on a grapefruit flavor if it's left out over night, but I'm working with target and willamette. Any thoughts on this?

They will be fine. When hops are harvested, they are just left out in piles for weeks letting them dry until they are eventually packed.

Just don't store them long-term in that fashion. Depending on the hops, they can loose up to 50% of their AAs if left open for 6 months.

One day vs. 6 months is nothing.
