So, the other day I found hiding behind the ice tray section in my freezer a bag of hops. Specifically, A 1 lb bag of cascade hops from the 2007 harvest that may have come into my possession by a certain lottery dating back to October 2008.
Anyway, this bag has been sealed airtight, purged with CO2, but not vacuum packed, and has been in the freezer the entire time of my possession. How do hops hold up over extended periods of time like this?
