So I have brewed and bottled a Honey Wheat Ale. It's been in the bottle for 1 week now. I popped one open and I guess I am surprised! I don't really care for the taste and am wondering if I have done something wrong? I am not a Hefeweizen beer person but wanted to try something different. Is there anyone in the ATX area that has a Hefeweizen beer they'd be willing to compare mine with to see if I did something wrong?

Let it age for at least 2 weeks more then try. I doubt you did anything wrong, it is just a very green brew. It will get better with age.

I don't even try my beers now until 3 weeks in the bottle, minimum. They are usually pretty good and drinkable at that point, but get even better with more time. :mug:
