Hi I am fairly new brewer from Gudalajara Mexico, I wanted to brew an Ale using Honey, wanted to know if anyone has any good recepeis or tip, by the way there is an "october fest" in our city were many mexican home brewers participate.

Thanks, caguama.

Northern Brewer has their Honey Kolesch kit, which is really good. Otherwise, just about any light beer would be good with honey, since the honey really only adds some aromatics to the beer.

Have fun at your Octoberfest.

Welcome to the forum, caguama!!

I just kegged the extract version of this one ant it is truly excellent! Two thumbs-up.

I have used honey in brown ales and it is always a hit!! I add the honey at flame out. I usually only use a pound of honey per 5 gallons. Works for me and I am happy with the results.

Here is the honey brown ale from Northern Brewer
