I was gonna brew today, till I found that the specialty grains in my order weren't crushed. I tried the rolling pin method, too much work and too many dents in the roller ... wife's gonna need a new one lol. So I gave up, emailed the company, and got on here.

I did a search and someone had used a blender. So back to the kitchen I went, got out the personal sized blender and tried it. Worked like a charm, so off to email the company problem solved, and off to brew I go.

Thankx all

Nice work. Fortunately the kitchen is my domain as well so I do what I want.

I'm not sure if you have a LHBS nearby or not, but it's times like these where they come in handy. The guys at mine have pretty good deals on grain and other things, and will grind it for you and even go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Online stores are convenient but you don't get a face to talk to.

Anyhow it's great that everything worked out. Good luck on the brew!
