Batch primed st peters ruby red into a barrel then bottled about fifty, this left about a third in the barrel, will i have to put c02 in barrel straight away, or will the priming sugar take care of that, considering there's only a third left in the barrel?
 
the barrel will not end up carbonated since you have too much headspace, the CO2 produced won't need to dissolve into solution.
Assuming its gravity fed, it'll dispense just fine, but will likely taste under-carbed, if carbed at all.
