Hey everyone, thanks for any help in advance...

First time kegging and have a new dual gauge regulator and new 5# CO2 tank. I went to hook everything and pressure test keg before I fill it so I attached the regulator to the CO2 tank and turned it on a little to check that the regulator is good and tight. When I turn it on all the CO2 just shoots out of the hole in what I guess is a pressure release, like on the top of the keg.

any ideas? Thanks!

The adjustment knob is probably tightened all the way, turn it counter clockwise all the way

Thanks for the suggestions guys. It took some messing around but it works now. I unscrewed that relief valave and tightened it extra good and now no CO2 comes out of the hole in it, unless I pull the pin of course :) Oatmeal Stout is now in the keg and hanging out for a couple weeks to carbonate.

Thought I was in trouble there for a while, thanks!
