Hello all! I started my first batch of mead on 10/11/13, and so far it is bubbling and everything BUT I think I may have done something wrong. When I shook it up, it foamed a little bit, and I didn't wash the foam stuff back into the liquid. Now it looks like there is some yeast (or something) on the side near the top out of the liquid. Is this alright? Is there something I need to do to fix it? I attached a photo for you guys to see. Thanks!

If you can't manage to, it's still fine. What I've done to reincorporate is to shake it up a bunch so the mead washes it back in. If you can't, you're mead is still fine.
