Help needed with Peach Wine!!

So I am about to bottle my peach wine and I tasted it to see how it was, It smells of peaches but tastes only of alcohol.

Not sure what the proof is but it must be very high.

So I have two questions;

Should I water it down a bit?

Should I add something to it to get more flavor?


I cannot believe that it does not taste of peaches, when you open it the room immediately smells of peaches. I think I must have overdone it with the sugar or something because it tastes like rocket fuel.

Ideas would be much appreciated as I really do not need 18 gallons of peach rocket fuel.

Yikes! 18 gallons! I'd say age it and see how it goes. Time heals all wounds... Except those it can't.
