We're lucky to have three stores in the B'more metro area (that I know of). Pick up a copy of "How to Brew" by John Palmer. Any of these shops should have it.

That covers most of the bases. A few other items:

1) Thermometer (If you have a kitchen probe one that will do)

2) Star-San

3) Kettle (a large stock pot will do)

i have an aluminum pot that i just fit 28 cups of water into... with about an inch left at the top... is that going to be big enough??

oh and i was planning on getting that essentials kit on that page too (i probably shoulda mentioned that)
