Hello! - Newbie from Raleigh

Hey everyone. I've been very interested in home brewing for a few years now but have never made the leap. I'm hoping Santa is nice to me this year and brings me either a "kit" or some gift certificates (Groupon had a local deal for a home brew store).

So I have lots of reading to do on this forum and I'm sure I'll have some questions down the road.

LOL, i've had homebrew stuff on my xmas list for a long time now, just never get it. Plus I'm more of a lurker. I figure if I don't have anything to add to a conversation, why post?
