Hello HBT!!

Been lurking on the forms for the past few weeks and just bottled my first batch yesterday!!

This hobby is already starting to get expensive but a lot of fun. Cya all around the forums and I'm glad to be a part of the community.

Welcome!! What did you bottle yesterday?

It's expensive for the first 6-12 months. Then you get to break even point and realize you're making 5 gallons of really good beer for $15. Probably about the tax you'd pay in MN for 50 beers.

Welcome!! What did you bottle yesterday?

I bottled the Dead Ringer IPA from NB. I drank the gravity reading sample and besides being flat and warm it had some good flavors. Can't wait to try a few next weekend.

I am originally from Minneapolis but live in South Dakota right now, I went in with a buddy on purchasing the brewing equipment, from there it gets cheaper, just $20-35 for ingredients and it makes a lot of beer!
