I've lurked here for about a year and now I'm in.
I've been brewing since Thanksgiving weekend 2010. I've done mostly kits so far. I wanted to try the spectrum before I took the next step. I've recently stepped it up to all grain. I favor dark beers, and I'm in pursuit of making great ones. So far all my friends have been impressed with the home brew.
This weekend I'm going to introduce about 5 guys to homebrewing. I've been talking it up at work some much they want to come see for themselves. A friend is coming over and we're going to brew the same style, an Irish Red Ale, one kit one all grain and taste the difference. It'll give us a good opportunity to be tour guides of the process.
Glad to be here. I look forward to learning a lot from all of you.
Cheers.
