Been an on again off again home brewer for quite time some. Learned from a close friend brewing extract 5 gallon batches. He ended up moving so my wife picked me up a 1 gallon system to use in our small condo at the time. Went right to all grain, because why not. Added a second fermentor and started brewing 2 gallon batches and kegging them. Fast forward to the last couple months, we now have a lot more space so I upgraded. Current system includes:
15Gal SS Brewtech Kettle
Blichmann hellfire burner
1 6.5gal class carboy
2 5 gallon glass carboys
Carboy heater
2 Inkbird 2 phase temperature control units (One for fermentation one for Keezer)
5 gallon igloo cooler(Mash tun) (picking up a second for batch sparge water)
5 cuft freezer
1 5 gallon keg with picnic tap
Brewed on this system for the first time this last weekend, pale ale with simcoe and hallertau hops.
Plans:
Oxygenation wand setup
Build collar and add taps to freezer
Considering a raspberry pi interface for beer information.
Cheers
