Hefeweisen had no banana flavor

Post title says it all. I used White labs 300, but no banana esters at all. Did my normal starter. Fermented around 65-66*...which is a tad cool, but I didn't think it was THAT cool.
Guess I will have to find a way to raise the temp in the carboy.
Any suggestions?

Underpitching will help. I would also ferment a few degrees warmer as well.

+1 to underpitching. Underpitching adds some strain to the yeast which produces the banana flavors.
