Post title says it all. I used White labs 300, but no banana esters at all. Did my normal starter. Fermented around 65-66*...which is a tad cool, but I didn't think it was THAT cool.
Guess I will have to find a way to raise the temp in the carboy.
Any suggestions?
 
how big of a starter and what was OG? you have to slightly under pitch to get the banana ester
 
+1 to underpitching. Underpitching adds some strain to the yeast which produces the banana flavors.
