hi im new to this forum and i have just tried my first batch of hard lemonade
its been fermenting for 14 days and i went to taste it before i was going to bottle it but it tastes stale kindof its funky it kind of like chewing on paper i guess is the best way to describe it the after taste is good but the initial iss not so much do i let it sit and ferment longer or do i bottle it and let it age or is it srap all i used was a mix of lemon and limeade and one can of orange juice all frozen and then i added 10lbs of sugar and used some champaine yeast for a 5 gallon batch

10th pounds of sugar is a lot for 5 gallons. I only have 7 pounds of sugar for a 6 gallon batch. What's the gravity readings

o2=Oxygen if it's in a bucket, open the bucket, I uses a wine degaser on a drill and splash it a round. make sure its all sanitized.
