I just started a 90 minute mash on a Belgian Abbey to celebrate the Winter Solstice. For tonight's celebration my Belgian Tripel brewed at sunrise on the Summer Solstice.
It's my first night brew and my last brew of the year.

I have beer tapped but tonight I will first celebrate with some special water from the Glastonbury Tor Springs in England. The Chalice Well Red and the Tor White. These names are taken, guys, for my brews...sorry. The sun majestically entered the door at Newgrange this morning!!!

Yes, but the Summer Solstice, so the days will now begin getting shorter, though they've got summer still ahead. I miss summer.
