What's up HBT smokers???

Last weekend I threw a pretty crazy rager centered around some Adam Perry Lang recipes. Has anyone else tried his lamb gyro meatloaf? Good grief! I made that recipe (from Serious Barbecue) plus his tzatziki sauce along with the beef ribs from BBQ 25. Wow. Can't speak highly enough of it. But my question is, what's the best beer pairing with greek food? I don't remember what I was drinking after the first several Session Blacks....

I think a brown ale would pair nicely with a gyro.

I usually like a nice shiraz with gyros. I could see a touch of hops pairing well but really anything not too malty would be good.
