I stumbled upon this thread recently:
https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f11/80-quart-stainless-kettle-lid-55-plus-shipping-411304/

and found that for $75 shipped to NH I could get a 100qt stainless kettle shipped. I split it 3 ways with 2 friends and 1 week later I got it. Just wanted to pass on the info and here are some pics. Note for comparison size, I have it set next to a 20.5 gallon kettle (a stainless bayou classic from Amazon that runs about $135) and a standard 6.5 gallon aluminum turkey fryer kettle. I can nest them all with my bottling bucket.

It certainly doesn't seem to be the 'best' steel but we just needed a good way to heat sparge/strike water. It seems a little light for the size but hey for the price it's a steal!

I have yet to use it, but even if it was just aluminum it's a good deal. Hopefully this helps somebody else! :mug:

edit:
helps if I include the link to the item!

Thank you for posting this, I've been keeping an eye on cost effective ways to get into bigger batches :ban:

No problem. I was excited to get my 20.5 gallon kettle for $140 over a year ago, so when I saw this I thought "too good to be true" but gave it a shot. I figured if it was some kind of scam I'm using a credit card, I can get the charges reversed. But I ordered, and 1 week later boom, it's great.

Did anyone ever get an accurate reading on how many gallons the "60 quart" kettle actually holds? I don't think I saw it in this thread.

I'm about to start a 1 or 2-tier direct fire RMS build (DIY everything but the brew stand) and am considering doing 2- "60 quart" kettles for the HLT and MT and 1- "80 quart" for the BK. 18ish gallons should leave plenty headspace for the BK but depending on the actual capacity of the 60 quart kettle it might be cutting it close for the MT and HLT, right?
