another vote for wiimote but I primarily use my wii to watch netflix. I don't, nor do my friends, have enough time to play video games.

Play old school games. I play Kirby all the time.

Sorry? If you have time to watch Netflix you have time to play video games, but looking down your nose at everything I can see how you wouldn't see that...

But hey you are clearly better than and more successful than me...

Whoa! Down boy!

How the hell did you get that from me saying I don't have time to video games? Not my intent at all. Sorry I put you on the defense.

Video games take a huge time commitment for them to be worthwhile; I think everyone would agree with that. Catching a 45 min episode of BSG before going to bed is not exactly the same thing.

Not everyone would agree. I hop on for 20 minutes to play 2 rounds of Blacklight Retribution all the time. I can even play during my lunch at work.

I suppose...I just think it takes a long time for me to get good enough at any given game for it to be worth it. Loved Super Mario Wii though, took me forever to get good at it. The only other game I committed time to besides that one was Golden Eye when I was in college. Best. Game. Ever. Facility with Rocket Launchers baby!

Talking to the TV is indeed awesome. I don't know about wii remotes, but the Xbox remote shuts down after 20 minutes of being idle. It takes several annoying seconds to turn back on and pause a show. Just saying Xbox pause is far superior to that.

Fair enough brother....and as you admit, you are NOT familiar with the wiimote ;)

Indeed they go to sleep, but 2 pushes of A wakes then pauses, no lag.
I need to check out the kinect for sure.

All I know is that the wiimote kicks the crap out of hand controllers for Call of Duty and the like.

Hells on Wheels is pretty good. About halfway through. Are all of the AMC originals at least halfway decent. Seems like half of my favorite shows come from AMC

If you like baseball, there is a good documentary streaming called "Knuckleball!" It features Tim Wakefield and RA Dickey mainly, along with Charlie Hough and the Niekro Brothers. Very interesting.

I throw a fierce knuckle ball.... with a football

I just finished watching Mystery Men on Netflix. I am not sure if I am ashamed or not for enjoying it more now than the first time I watched it many years ago.

I like to know if something sucks, but in the end it is your opinion.

I was chided for liking LO (CHECK IT OUT CHESHIRECAT.......pre-emptive "YES" included for your convenience, you are welcome) But it is just my kind of wierd and therefore AWESOME.

One man's NO is another man's YES. Please move on.

I had a friend rave about Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, so I checked it out.

His recommendations don't carry nearly as much weight anymore. It doesn't mean he's an idiot. He just apparently enjoys idiotic movies. :mug:

It is truly unfortunate that Netflix doesn't have any Lynch movies anymore. I can remember watching Mulholland Drive and I think Dune on there before. I also seem to recall seeing Lost Highway on there at one point, but that may have been Amazon or Hulu.

Isn't it time for you to start drinking again? Because if it is, I'm dying to go to Sergio's.

i was enjoying Orange is the New Black until Chapman came out of the SHU and jumped her ex. WTF?

That's one I've been thinking about watching.

So... more or less weird than Eraserhead?

I'm enjoying some Peep Show, also enjoy some of the other British comedies the inbetweeners, black books

It turns out that I cannot watch my netflix streaming from Tokyo. Instead it says, "Sorry Netflix hasn't come to this part of the world yet".

Amazon Prime streaming pretends like it will work, but then when I click on a video to watch it, it says there is a geographic restriction.

Proxy servers are your friend.

Yeah, I know what a proxy server is. It is just a shame that as an american, with a US address, paying with a US credit card, and having lived in the US and used Netflix US pretty much since the company got started, that they would arbitrarily cut me off because I am trying to watch something while I'm on a business trip.

It's japans laws. There not allowed to show everything over there. The server censors block it.

I didn't know they had porn on netflix. That's the only thing I've ever seen censored here. They even show naked boobies on TV with no pixelation or other censorship, which is more than I can say for the US.
