Hey guys
So ive been making jamils blonde ale recipe for quite a while, i was wondering if anyone has a similar but slightly different recipe. My goal is to have an easy drinking, lower abv (by low i mean 4.5%) blonde with no bitterness and some sweetness, as well as a nice light body and crisp finish.

I brewed a Blonde Ale in January that was pretty good, though my impatience led to it being full of diacetyl. I only primaried for a week. It's a recipe I'll keep, though, try again and give it more time to clean up.

8 lb two-row pale malt
5 oz biscuit malt
5 oz cara-pils/dextrine

Mash in at 148 for 60 minutes
Fly sparge to collect 7 Gallons wort

Boil 60 minutes with the following additions:
50 minutes - 1/2 oz Northern Brewer
15 minutes - 1/4 oz Centennial
Flameout - 1/4 oz Centennial

Ferment with a clean, neutral yeast. I used S-05, but now that I'm doing starters with liquid yeast, I'd probably use WLP001.

I'm making a Blonde this weekend, and I'll probably mish-mash one of these recipes. Anyone have any of the above that was particularly good or still holds it's own 2 years later?
