After experimenting very successfully with a Pider and several fruit ciders, I wanted to try something totally off the wall. Does anyone think this will be vile?

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you....

Spiced Tomato Cider!

Photo below, just before I pitched and fitted the airlock. Just a small batch in case it is vile.

3 litres freshly pressed apple juice
2 litres fresh tomato juice
1/2 tablespoon of crushed chilli pepper

Critique anyone? (be gentle)

In a 16 ounce glass, mix 6 ounces apple juice / cider with 4 ounces tomato juice. Add a teaspoon of hot sauce. Add 2 ounces vodka. Stir. Drink. It will probably taste worse than that. :tank:

Sounds interesting ... might be really good served with a shot or two of prepared bovril/bouillon, a dash of worcestershire sauce and a couple squirts of tabasco sauce. Clam juice comes to mind too. No ... really ... I am serious about all this stuff. Items known to compliment one another.
