Girls pint out -- new brewer from LI, NY

Hey all!
I'm an amateur, but am loving this whole homebrewing hobby I inherited from my father. Has anybody heard of/is anyone a part of "Girls' pint out" on this forum? I was at my local homebrewing store and one of the employees told me about it when he noticed me shopping for ingredients, but I have yet to get in contact with my local chapter. Any thoughts/experience with these groups?

Hi from a fellow long island homebrewer.

Never heard of this group so I can't comment on it but anything that gets you thinking about beer is probably a good thing.
