Freigeist Geisterzug (Spruced Gose)

Anyone had one of these yet? I had one the other day and it is fantastic. I usually don't go for spruce beer, but this one's got a little bit of funk and a little tartness from the gose and man...it really surprised me. If you see one, don't hesitate.

I am going to brew a spruce beer this summer. I have a friend in Colorado that has spruce on his property.

I've never even looked into it. Can you use tips from any type of spruce tree?
