Left the pound of flaked wheat out of my RIS yesterday.
Didn't know until after pitching 600 billion 1098. It's currently slowly filling a trash bag with overflow from the blow off jug.
Anybody ever do a 1 pound mash and quick boil, then add the wort?

I bet one pound of flaked wheat is a tiny percentage of your grain bill. You probably won't miss it. Trying to add it at this point would be more trouble than it's worth.

If you really think you're going to miss it, mash the pound of flakes with 1/2 pound of wheat malt (or 2-row, or so). Boil 20 minutes vigorously, chill and add to your fermentor.
