I put together my cooler MLT last night. After tweaking with it a bit, it works flawlessly...no leaks, etc.
However, the valve is so stiff that I have to physically hold it or the plastic supporting it will bend (not permanently, but the fairly thin walls of the cooler don't have enough strength to stand up against the force required to actuate the valve). Nothing dramatic, of course, but the basic point is that I have to hold the valve when I'm opening or closing it.
For those of you with a cooler MLT, is this fairly normal?
