So my fermentation is all done in my conical and I've cold crashed to the best of my ability for a week. I used Wyeast's German Ale Yeast 1007 for the first time and this stuff just does not drop out of suspension. Today I opened up one of the valves a bit on the conical and it's literally all foam and yeast coming out. Since this is the case, I'm going to have to filter this beer. My question is, once the foam goes through the filter will beer come out the other side or will it still be foam? I just don't know as I've never run into this before.
