Tasting Notes
Put it up against a Smithwicks and you can\\'t tell the difference
Who says reds/ambers have to be ales? This beer knocks the ball out of the end zone! Very good, malty, good head, great color. I wasn't aiming for a Smitty clone, but it's spot on.

9 lbs Pilsner (2 Row) UK (1.0 SRM)
1 lbs 8.0 oz Caramel/Crystal Malt - 60L (60.0 SRM)
1 lbs Caraamber (36.0 SRM)
8.0 oz Cara-Pils/Dextrine (2.0 SRM)
8.0 oz Caramel/Crystal Malt -120L (120.0 SRM)
8.0 oz Melanoiden Malt (20.0 SRM)
1.00 oz Fuggles [4.50 %] - Boil 60.0 min
1 Whirlfloc Tablet (Boil 15.0 mins)
1.00 oz Fuggles [4.50 %] - Boil 15.0 min
2.0 pkg Saflager Lager (DCL/Fermentis #W-34/70) Yeast

This is only the 3rd pour from the keg. I did also add gelatin because I want it super crystal clear. It's already clearing up on the 4th pour, and I suspect by 5 or 6 it will get all that gunk out.

I just bought a mini fridge to turn into a Lagerator and this looks like it would hit the spot for the start of summer.
Have you made any changes since you first tried this one out? Anything you would do differently?
