I am trying to put together the grain bill for Dude's Pub Ale which calls for "flaked soft white wheat American." My LHBS caries "toasted flaked wheat" and "raw unmalted wheat malt" and "soft white wheat malt." Which one should I be using? Thanks!!!

Since I don't know what unmalted malt is, I'd go with the malted wheat.

Unmalted wheat gelatinizes at mash temp, so you could just use flour.

944Play,

I went back and double checked on the raw unmalted wheat malt as the name makes no sense. I have listed it as labled, however they likely have in incorrectly named. So is flaked wheat and toasted flaked wheat a different animal? Thanks!!!!
