Flaked maize conversion flavor

What kinda flavor will you get if you do not get full conversion with flaked maize??
 
IDK what kind of flavor it would have, starchy maybe. A 90 minute mash is pretty much standard when doing adjunct beers. The enzymes from the base malt have a lot of extra work to do and it usually takes more time.
 
You get some corn flavor, but it tends to be hardly noticeable.

My Haus Amber Ale (which I am brewing another 10 gallons of Saturday) uses 3lbs of flaked corn. The recipe is modeled on a "German/Mexican" style amber, which has corn as an element.

The corn blends well with the Munich and Crystal, making a VERY nice taste.
