I am mashing my first AG right now. I have a polarware(?) 10 gallon MLT with a false bottom. Because I lose a gallon of my mashing water due to the false bottom my LHBS told me to mash with 5.5 gals of water - though Beer Alchemy says 4.06. Through a mix-up I added 6 gallons total to my mash. Will this cause big problems? I'm not really worried as I'm trying to get the basic feel for AG with this brew - but it would be nice to know the consequences of my gaffs! :mug:
