Hi this is my first time brewing and i'm as far along as fermenting without any hiccups. I'm brewing a honey saison and I'm fermenting it with WLP670 American Farmhouse Blend. I just pitched the yeast yesterday afternoon about two ish and it was bubbling by the time i went to sleep. But this morning when i woke up and it looks like ****s about to pop off

Should i tenderly open it and pour some out to leave more room for the krausen in the carboy? or leave it... the little bubble thing on top is going every second about now so its releasing a lot of c02 i imagine.

edit: also forget to mention, but i screwed up one other thing in that the og was a lot higher than i wanted at about 1.070 :x probably why it's fermenting out of control now haha

If I were you, I'd probably set up a blow-off tube before you have airlock rockets!

This shows how to make one: http://www.love2brew.com/Articles.asp?ID=279

The krausen is so high because you've got them filled too high. You need enough headspace for fermentation to occur.

EDIT: I guess I type (or think) too slow! Beaten to it on both accounts! :D

thanks guys. i did the blow off thing and it seems like the batch is safe again for now!
