Today is the day I go all-grain. For my first attempt, I'll try an American Pale Ale. Here's the grain all ready for a good mashing.

Congrats! I just did my first all grain batch yesterday... went pretty well, and I should end up with a nice maple nut brown ale in 2 months or so.

Broke my AG cherry today. Brewed a sour ale similar to Magic Hat ODD Notion series. I have made an extract version of this before and it is good.

sounds like it's going better than my first AG batch. hope you enjoy!

PS: you know you're going to be hooked now, huh? AG brewing is sooo addicting!

Almost........gotta keep a close eye on it. Not familiar with Fermcap.

Bittering hops are in (Cascade) and just waiting. Already considering the next project.......perhaps a honey pale ale or maybe a good english bitter. Decisions, decisions............

I just brewed my first 2 AG batches this weekend. It is addictive! I spent about 2 months prepping for this and now I don't know what to do with myself. Can't wait to brew again.

Cheers!
