So, I just bottled my first AG/BIAB brew, and I'm extremely happy. Switching from extract with specialty grains to AG took no more time or effort, simplified cleanup, and opened up tons more options, while cutting costs like nobody's business. No more paying $4/lb for extract for me!

Now to practice my google-fu and find something to do with the spent grain after next brew day.

I've heard of folks using the grains from a traditional AG batch to make bread. I don't known how well that will work with double crushed grains, though.

I've also read that it composts well if you are a gardener.

I have a theory that it might make a good catfish chum. I have yet to try it out. My plan is to ferment it 2-3 weeks in a bucket and dump the chum in a 1 gallon paint strainer bag, which I'll tie to my kayak.
