So 1 quick question. I tried my first brew today (strawberry ale extract /w grain kit) and it tasted good however It didnt have a strawberry taste at all. The kit came with a bottle of strawberry flavoring and I added 3 pounds of strawberries (both added in secoundary fermintation). I did try it a little premature it has only been bottled for a week, but I couldn't wait:p. So my question is will that flavor come though later on. Its still good either way:drunk:, but just a little curious.

those flavors usually do come out more later. give it some more time. strawberry isn't a strong flavor, so when it does show up, it may be barely noticeable

+1 for more time. At this point in development, a week or two is a HUGE difference.

Carbonation will help the flavor. When it is ready for a pour, let it warm a bit (when it is out of the fridge cold, the flavors are subdued. as it warms up, the flavors come out more).

I never used a flavor extract but had great success using real fruit. I'm sure your brew will turn out fine with a couple of weeks.
Try using frozen cut strawberries in your secondary for a few days can't beat it.
