This probably isn't necessarily worth a new thread, but I am doing it anyway. Northern Brew's American Wheat Beer. Just brewed it last night. Hope it turns out well. Thanks to the guys who offered up advice to me regarding a brew pot. You will all be hearing from me with all sorts of questions in the future. Happy Brewing!

Congrats! I cooked up my first last night as well. I rushed downstairs this morning to check the airlock like a kid on Christmas, haha. Saw a couple bubbles, can't wait for tonight when it starts rumbling. I'm brewing a Brewer's Best American IPA.

This forum is awesome, I really appreciate all of the help that's out there. The passion for brewing is evident, and it's great to see newbies like me. Good luck with your brew!

Congrats on your first brew.

Welcome to the hobby/addiction. The hardest thing to learn is the art of patience. You choice of a wheat beer is a good one for the first brew because you can drink them young.

Pick up another fermenter or two so you can build a pipeline and then the waiting is much easier.

This forum is a wealth of information. When I first started I spent so much time reading about brewing that my wife called it my beer porn.

Cheers

I have definitely been considering more carboys, I just don't know if I can drink 'em fast enough!

As said, get more fermenters! You will be surprised how your beer will disappear.
Especially if you have any help.

Also, if you brew a big beer that takes a lot of aging you will not have to wait for it to finish.

Welcome to HBT,the OCD club! :D I just pitched on another batch of my Sunset Gold APA last Sunday. Wit Ahtanum & Sterling hops. Airlock smell is great.

Yeah I can see that happening already. Just bought all my equipment this month and the better half wasn't too impressed. I will give it a couple weeks and may go after more fermenters. Luckily, this brew is only schedule for 2 weeks in the primary and 2 weeks of bottle conditioning. That's manageable.

Buckets are cheap and are easy to use, clean, carry and store.

I have both buckets and carboys and use the buckets first and rarely use the carboys anymore.
